I'm excited about our 2019 ESOP Stock Reveal Party this Thursday! In the early days of our ESOP it seemed hard to imagine the stock price growth that our company could achieve. There was a run of a few years during the Great Recession that our stock price remained relatively flat and I know many of our folks were skeptical about long term growth potential. Our company, like all companies, will have its ebbs and flows, but over the long term, I am confident that your stock will have tremendous growth!
I think the thing I like best about our ESOP stock growth is that we all have control of its growth. Unlike your 401K stocks or publicly traded stocks you may own, you really don't know the inner works of the company that you are buying. Here at Williams Company you all play an integral role in the success and profitability of our company. Your long hours, your organization skills, your dedication, your sense of urgency, and your incredible service to our clients, literally effects your pocketbook!
