Most
of you may know the name Jeremy
Foley. If not, he is the athletic
director at the University of Florida
who recently announced his retirement. Jeremy has done an incredible job
with the entire athletic
program at UF beginning in 1992. In what could be described as the
most competitive conference in America, the Southeastern Conference, Jeremy has lead Florida to the number one ranking
in the conference 24 out of the last 25 years.
Foley has 27 National Championship teams to his credit and UF has never finished
under 7th in the national all
sports ranking under
his tenure.
Jeremy started at UF as an intern in the ticket office. He came to UF from a nondescript school and with a nondescript degree. No fancy pedigree
here, just a regular guy. He worked a lot of hours. He studied his trade. He always asked himself
"How can Iget better?"
He set lofty goals. His mantra was "Mediocrity is not acceptable
in college athletics".
For
people that know Jeremy, words like passionate, competitive, and humble come to mind. For
someone looking in from the outside, Ibelieve CONSISTENCY is the hallmark of his career. To have the top athletic program in the
Southeastern Conference 24 out of the last 25 years
is unheard of.
So it is the consistency of Jeremy's work that has been the
hardest to achieve.
Here
at Williams Company
those same expectations of consistency
in delivering a high level of service to our clients is what
has made us successful! Day after day,
week after week, month after month, year after year, our team receives
raving reviews from our clients for a job well done.
This consistent performance is not easy. It
takes incredible focus, dogged determination, a lot of common
sense, and a strong sense
of urgency to succeed every
day. Consistency doesn't
have to do with talent,
it has to do with will.
And that in a nutshell
is who we have decided
to be here at Williams

a PM, an IT guy, a Pre-Con manager,
an admin or an executive, we have all made the conscious decision
